Railway and IRCTC Tatkal Booking Time Frame 10 AM to 12 PM

Railway and IRCTC have changed the timing of Tatkal Booking and now onward this time is 10 AM instead of 8 AM and it will be applied till 12 PM for all people excepting agents . A railway Tatkal booking window will open from 10 A.M morning.You need not to go so early on railway window to book the Tatkal ticket. If you do online Tatkal reservation then from the same IP address only two tickets will be allowed to book in a Tatkal Ticket Time Frame. When we tried at 8 A.M today then got below message. The new time has effected from July 10, 2012.

IRCTC agents can book the ticket after 12 P.M and the same rules apply to them too. Apart from it, IRCTC has managed server to tackle with online traffic load. But still that there is less chance to get an online Tatkal ticket now.You will know that Tatkal booking started one day in advance from journey date and Time is 10 AM now.

1. Go to Your Electoral Office of your district, Fill one form or You may apply online too, some of government started to apply for voter card online and attach scan copy of ID and address proof while submitting the application through Internet.
2. Submit the form with Address Proof and ID proof.
3. Electoral Officer will verify your address.
4. After a verification, your Voter Id card will be issued at your address.You may see status of Voter ID card online, if you had applied online.You may contact to office through provided Toll Free Number or Email IDs.

Petroleum companies have launched transparency portal for LPG to consumers.The Customers can see online count & status of subsidized gas cylinder and status of all delivered cylinder in financial year.Search Your name using option state, city and distributor name.Your distributor name written on the receipt or book which you get when cylinder delivered at home.Few of portal started online booking too.You may book your cylinder using the Internet and through online portals.You may raise your complain against the distributor and can rate your distributor too.

Rail Radar - All Indian Trains Running on Google Map

From today onward ( 10 Oct 2012, Wednesday ) all running trains have been live on Google maps with cosmetic display. The Center for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) has just launched Rail Radar ( रेल रडार ) an interactive map which will display all running trains at a glance and you may also find current status of a running train.You may search the train from left side corner by giving train number or station name.Click or hover on Train Icon to know current status of running train.Blue color trains are on the time and red color trains are delayed by some time.Click on train icon to know delayed time. If you click on the particular station then you will get a status of all trains coming at this station. Live data is refreshed in each 5 minute as Google map is taking own time to be refreshed.A Good visualization of all running trains and its traffic in different different routes.Iconic legends are given to understand clearly the status of trains and arrival stations.This live train tracker has tremendous features which use real time train information data and updating through API.CRIS also planning to install GPS devices in all trains in the next year. GPS devices have been installed successfully in 360 trains till now, running trains in Chennai.
